Kibataro Oki died on May 9 1906 at the age of 58. In effect after establishing Meikosha in 1881, Kiabataro had dedicated his entire life to the manufacture telegraph and telephone devices. He had no particular hobbies, nor did he indulge in any luxuries. His simple interest was the growth of was the growth of Oki and Co., and he witnessed the company's success before passing away.

1907
Oki and Co Ltd was established and all of Oki and Co.'s assets were transferred there. The articles of incorporation of the new company listed its capital at 600,000 yen. The company had six members with unlimited responsibility - Kibataro Oki Jnr, Take Oki, Umakichi Oki, Eitaro Kinoshita, Kiyoshi Itoh and Totaro Katoh. These were either members of the family or long time employee's from the Meikosha days.

1908
A new production facility in the Tamachi section of Tokyo was constructed. The existing factory in Kyobashi section then came to specialise in wire manufacture, and began processing ebonite and manufacturing rubber - covered wire.
