How to print a number of pages onto one sheet of paper
21/10/2006
With the C8000 Series, you can now print documents with many pages onto fewer pages using the N-Up function. This feature can be used to print presentations onto one sheet of paper whilst maintaining legibility. Ideal for storyboarding and archiving information and ultimately, saving you paper.
1) Go to 'File', 'Print' and then select Properties.
2) Select either, 2-up, 4-up, 6-up, 8-up, 9-up or
16-up from under the 'Finishing Mode' section. Your selection will
be visualised on the right hand side of the dialogue box
3) If you would like to use the default settings,
then go to Step 6. For further choices, click on the 'Options'
button in the 'Finishing Mode' section.
4) When using the N-up feature, by default, you will get a thin black line around each page. You can select an alternative style to this from the 'Page Border' drop down menu in the 'Options' section.
5) You can select whether you would like your
pages to be placed horizontally or vertically on the page by
selecting one of these options from the 'Page Layout' section.
6) You also have the option to extend the bind
margin of your booklet. Simply check the 'Bind Margin' box and
input how much extra room you want.
7) Click 'OK' and proceed to print.
